Bolton chairman Phil Gartside described Bolton´s UEFA Cup group as "fantastic" after the Trotters were drawn against German giants Baynern Munich.
As well as Bayern, who are currently leading the Bundesliga after a blistering start to their campaign, Bolton will take on Red Star Belgrade, who were knocked out of the Champions League in the qualifying stage by Rangers. The Premier League strugglers´ group is completed by Portuguese side Braga and Aris Salonika of Greece.
Gartside told Sky Sports: "We all said Bayern Munich in the group would be fantastic, so we´re all very happy."
