Ronnie Jepson has resigned as manager of Gillingham after a disappointing start to the season for the League One club.
Jepson offered his resignation to chairman Paul Scally on Sunday morning following the 3-0 defeat against Southend.
A statement released by the club read: "Gillingham have parted company with manager Ronnie Jepson with immediate effect."
