Sterling set for new deal

Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling is set to sign a new long-term contract which will commit his future to the club.

The teenager, who turned 18 earlier this month, has agreed in principle what is believed to be a five-year deal.

Press Association Sport understands the player, who made his senior England debut this season, could sign the contract by this weekend.
