Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are all set to be disappointed after mutual target Fernando Llorente reportedly agreed to thrash out a deal to join Juventus next week.
A report from talkSPORT claims the Athletic Bilbao striker has opted to listen to the Serie A champions as a first option on Monday over a possible January transfer window switch.
The report also claims Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has an interest in the Spain international, as well as his counterpart at Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers.
Emirates Stadium and Anfield are not the only places in the Premier League to be chasing Llorente, as both Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur have been credited with an interest in him.
It now appears they are all going to be disappointed and will have to look elsewhere to reinforce their striking departments.
Llorente could be available for a knock-down price in January as his contract with Athletic runs out at the end of the season and they could decide to cash in on him to avoid losing him for nothing in the summer.
Juventus won the Serie A title last season without losing a single game and are currently seven points clear.
