Theo Walcott has no ambition to leave Arsenal in the January transfer window, but will instead take his pick from suitors in the summer if a new contract with the Gunners is not agreed, reports the Daily Mail.

Walcott will enter into the final six months of his deal with Arsenal at the start of January, and will be entitled to agree a pre-contract with a European club prior to a free transfer at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old, however, reportedly has no interest in deciding his future next month, with the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool tipped to make bids for Walcott when the winter transfer window opens.

If Walcott decides against signing a new Arsenal deal, he will reportedly wait until the summer before speaking to interested clubs, which reportedly include Manchester City and Manchester United.

Arsene Wenger has always maintained that he wants to keep Walcott at the Emirates Stadium, but the England international wants more than the £75,000-a-week the Gunners are willing to offer.

Walcott, though, may be encouraged to stay with Arsenal having started the last two Premier League matches in his favoured central striker's role, while the Gunners are now up to third in the table.
