Derby have agreed terms with Finnish midfielder Mika Vayrynen over a possible move from PSV Eindhoven.
The 25-year-old has undergone a medical with the newly-promoted Rams on Friday afternoon and a deal is expected to be tied up on Friday evening.
Vayrynen, who has also played for Heerenveen in Holland, is a left-sided midfielder who can also play in the centre.
