Derby manager Billy Davies will be forced to sit in the Pride Park stands for his side´s opening Barclays Premier League match of the season against Tottenham on Saturday.
Davies has been handed a one-match touchline ban and fined £1000 for using insulting and/or abusive words towards a match official during the Rams´ 1-0 Coca-Cola Championship win at Southend on January 20.
The Scot has also been fined a further £750 and warned as to his future conduct after using insulting and/or abusive words towards a Southend steward.
