Richard Cresswell´s move from Leeds to Yorkshire rivals Hull has fallen through after concerns over the striker´s medical.
The Tigers had agreed a fee with the 29-year-old, who had also accepted personal terms, only for his medical to prove unsatisfactory.
City chairman Paul Duffen told Radio Humberside: "We weren´t 100% happy with the outcome. There was an element of risk involved, which I´ve decided isn´t where we should be, seeing as there is a big financial commitment involved."
