Liverpool are ready to continue their summer spending spree, chief executive Rick Parry has insisted, to add to the arrivals of Fernando Torres, Yossi Benayoun, Ryan Babel and Lucas Leiva.
The Reds, flush with cash following last season´s takeover by Americans Tom Hicks and George Gillett, have been one of the close season´s big spenders as they seek to end what would be an 18-year run without a league title by the end of next term, and Parry has refused to rule out the possibility of further arrivals at Anfield before the current transfer window closes at the end of August.
"If a player becomes available and he´s the right player for this club then yes, we will be interested," he told www.liverpoolfc.tv.
