Saints in investment talks

Southampton have confirmed they are in discussions with "more than one interested party" about investment into the club.

In a statement to the Stock Exchange, the club confirmed that in addition to their announcement on April 27 that they had received a preliminary approach from one party, they were now holding talks with at least one other potential investor.

The statement read: "The board is pleased to report that it is now in discussions with more than one interested party which may or may not lead to an offer. Further announcements will be made as and when appropriate."
