Hull City have swooped to secure the £450,000 signing of defender Wayne Brown from Coca-Cola Championship rivals Colchester United.
The 29-year-old, a virtual ever-present at Layer Road since joining from Watford in July 2004, passed a medical on Saturday and penned a three-year deal at City to end weeks of negotiation and speculation.
"The last two-and-a-half weeks have been a frustrating time for myself," Brown told the club´s official website www.hullcityafc.net. "But we had to be patient. Obviously I´m delighted the move has finally come about and I can´t wait to get started."
