The Football League have asked for assurances regarding the sale of Leeds United to Ken Bates before they will reconsider handing the club its ´golden share´.
The League want administrators KPMG to provide documentation and other assurances concerning the purchase of the club by Ken Bate´s consortium.
The League board will then meet "at the earliest opportunity" to reconsider the share transfer.
