Wigan manager Chris Hutchings has rejected another offer from Sunderland for full-back Leighton Baines.
The 22-year-old left-back is one of a number of players to have been linked with the Wearsiders as they prepare for their return to the Barclays Premier League.
But Hutchings, who clinched the signing of Jason Koumas on Tuesday, wants to keep the former trainee in order to improve on the club´s narrow scrape with relegation last season.
