Thomas Sorensen is confident he will still be playing for Aston Villa next season despite reports linking Martin O´Neill with a move for Bolton goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen.
The 31-year-old has 12 months left of his current contract and there have been few signs of O´Neill looking to extend the deal of the Danish international, but Sorensen believes he is still good enough to be Villa´s number one for a fifth successive season.
Sorensen said: "Villa have been linked with lots of players. I know I am good enough to be the first choice at the club and don´t care about the rumours."
