Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs has been awarded with an OBE in the Queen´s birthday honours.
Giggs, 33, is United´s most decorated player, 23 winners´ medals and counting, putting him ahead of the club´s all-time greats, Bobby Charlton, Denis Law and George Best.
That one fact says it all about the talented Welshman, who has just retired from international football with 64 caps - yet another of his countrymen never to appear in a major finals.
