Leicester have confirmed that they will hold talks with MK Dons boss Martin Allen about taking over at the Walkers Stadium.
Allen, 41, guided the Dons to the Coca-Cola League Two play-offs this season and has emerged as a surprise candidate to succeed Rob Kelly, who was sacked last month.
A statement released by the club read: "Leicester can confirm that they have been given permission by MK Dons to speak to Martin Allen with regards to the vacant managerial position at the Walkers Stadium."
