Neil Warnock has resigned as Sheffield United manager, according to Sky Sports News.
Blades plc chairman Kevin McCabe called a press conference for 11am on Wednesday where Warnock´s departure was expected to be announced.
Warnock failed to prevent the club´s relegation to the Championship on Sunday when his side were beaten 2-1 by Wigan.
