Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente, a reported target for Arsenal and Manchester United, will speak to Juventus about a proposed free transfer to Turin at the end of the season.

Llorente is out of contract in the summer and his situation has led to links with Arsenal and Manchester United, with the Spain international confirming that this season will be his last with Athletic Bilbao.

Juventus, however, appear to have made the first formal move for Llorente, with Athletic Bilbao confirming that the 27-year-old will speak to the Serie A champions with a view to a summer move to Italy.

Arsenal were reported to be considering a move for Llorente having failed to sufficiently compensate for the summer departure of captain Robin van Persie.

The Gunners did move to sign Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski during the summer transfer window, but still lack numbers in their goalscoring department.

Manchester United, meanwhile, have been linked with Llorente in their apparent search for another striker, with the Old Trafford club also reported to be pursuing Robert Lewandowksi of Borussia Dortmund.
