Holders Chelsea have been handed an away tie against lower-league opposition in the draw for the FA Cup fourth round made at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
The Blues, who hammered fellow top-flight side Southampton 5-1 to reach this stage, will visit either League Two Southend or Brentford of League One in the next phase after their 2-2 draw at Roots Hall on Saturday.
Barclays Premier League champions Manchester City were also handed a potentially tough away-day assignment against the winners of the replay between Championship side Crystal Palace and Stoke, who lost 1-0 to City in the 2011 final.
Arsenal will travel to Brighton, who beat Newcastle United yesterday, providing they can overcome Swansea at the Emirates Stadium in their third round replay, while Tottenham also face an away tie against either Leeds United or Birmingham City.
And finally, Manchester United will have the incentive of hosting either Fulham or Blackpool at Old Trafford, as long as they can advance at the expense of West Ham in their forthcoming home replay after last night's 2-2 draw at Upton Park.
The fourth round ties will be contested at the end of the month, over the weekend of 26 and 27 January.
