Chelsea’s managerial woes will continue as Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp is set to be the latest candidate to snub an offer to take up the hot seat at Stamford Bridge.

According to the Daily Telegraph, claims Blues owner Roman Abramovich has been impressed with Klopp winning back-to-back Bundesliga titles with his exciting young side and has earmarked him as his next choice for manager.

However, it goes on to say that sources in Germany have revealed Klopp would turn down the role in favour of succeeding Joachim Loew as Germany coach for his next job.

The news will come as a blow to Abramovich, especially as the report claims his first choice for the job was former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola whom has just agreed to take over at Dortmund’s rivals Bayern Munich for next season.

It also states Chelsea have lined up other candidates for the permanent role, including Loew, David Moyes of Everton and Swansea City’s Michael Laudrup, but will proceed with current interim manager Rafael Benitez until the end of the season.
