Most Mexican football stories in Europe are based around Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, but this latest goal could have some of you seeking out more of it.
A Copa MX match between famous Mexican sides Necaxa and America produced a goal to win any match.
As it turned out, Miguel Layun’s strike was the opener after half an hour in a tight game at Necaxa’s Estadio Victoria Aguascalientes.
An attack down the right was thwarted by the defence but fell to Layun 30 yards out, where he played a neat one-two with his teammate before smashing a swerving first-time shot into the far corner.
It was quite a goal and must have shocked Necaxa because America went on to win the game 4-1.
