Tottenham Hotspur face a fight to keep Hugo Lloris at White Hart Lane as Barcelona are seriously considering a move for him.

According to Portuguese publication A Bola, the Camp Nou club are eyeing the White Hart Lane glove man as a possible long-term replacement for Victor Valdes.

Barcelona’s number one has confirmed he will not be renewing his contract and the Catalan club are reportedly keen on bedding in a replacement before it expires in 2014.

Tottenham manager would be loath to see Lloris leave Spurs after entrusting the Frenchman with the number one shirt this season.

The France captain moved to Spurs from Lyon last summer in a deal worth a reported £11.8million.

He was left to battle it out with former first choice Brad Friedel to see which would get the job full-time, with Lloris eventually getting the nod.

The report in A Bola also claims Lloris is not the only goalkeeper on Barcelona’s shortlist, with a host of Europe’s top number ones being watched.

Including Manchester United’s David de Gea and Liverpool’s Pepe Reina, among others.
