There are many great young talents playing the game at present and developing into stars.
However, which ones will take 2013 by storm? Here are my top ten players to look out for this season:
10. Paul Pogba | Juventus
The ex-Manchester Unittd man Paul Pogba is currently proving his potential in the Serie A and the Champions League for Italian giants Juventus. The Central Midfielder's most notable attribute is his ability to pass the ball. The 19-year-old also has great vision and a large stature, as such he is capable of both attacking and defending. This young man may be one that got away for Sir Alex Ferguson and The Red Devils.
9. Wilfried Zaha | Manchester United
Manchester United's most recent signing Wilfried Zaha has made a huge impact in the Championship this season. He has temporarily gone back to Crystal Palace for the remainder of the season and has used his incredible pace, dribbling and agility to prove he is a star in the making. Sir Alex Ferguson has signed a player with fantastic ability and an eye for a goal. Watch out Premier League, this 20-year-old has talent!
8. Raheem Sterling | Liverpool
The 18-year-old Liverpool youngster has impressed so far this season. He has played regularly for the Anfield outfit this year and shown his speed, balance, dribbling and agility can frighten the very best of defenders. With an England call-up already under his belt, it's clear to see that Sterling will be a very influential player in the coming years for Brendan Rodgers.
7. Lucas Moura | Paris Saint-German
This 20-year-old may become one of the best players in the world in future years. He has so many fantastic attributes already, most notably his speed, dribbling, shot power, passing, reactions and ball control. He shows similar qualities that we've seen in Brazilian legends gone by. This guy has the potential to rock the football world.
6. Philippe Coutinho | Liverpool
Another Liverpool player appears in my top ten, this time it's the recent signing of ex-Inter Milan starlet Phillipe Coutinho. He has extrondinary skill and his dribbling and ball control rival some of the world’s best players. Watch out for this man, under Rodgers he has the potential to lift Liverpool up to new heights.
5. Raphael Varane | Real Madrid
Only 19, this tall centre back is hinting at having all the attributes that make a world-class defender. He has a great ability to read the game and intercept the ball. Watch out strikers, Varane is ready to unleash his potential this year!
4. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain | Arsenal
With pace at a virtue, this English winger has bags of ability and potential! His speed, dribbling and skills leave defenders clueless of how to handle him! Still a teenager, watch out for this future Arsenal hero!
3. Stephen El Shaarawy | AC Milan
Well, we've already seen what this wonder-kid can offer, with his lightning fast pace, explosive dribbling and unbelievable skills he has the potential to become an AC Milan great. This guy is going to rip up 2013 leaving spectators purring for more!
2. Neymar | Santos
An obvious choice to earn a place in this list, Neymar isn't far off World Class at the age of 21! The Brazilian international has everything, pace, skill and strength, he will blast through 2013 leaving defenders on their bottoms and European teams begging for his signature!
1. Jack Wilshere | Arsenal
My clear winner and a fantastic, almost world-class player as well. At a smaller height than most, his bravery and dedication for his team is admirable. He's strong, quick, skilful and an all-rounder. The England international has the chance to shine for both club and country in 2013 and for many years to come.
