Manchester City have reignited their interest in Barcelona winger Alexis Sanchez, but will face competition for the Chilean's signature from Liverpool and Serie A leaders Juventus, according to Goal.com.

With Sanchez no longer a regular first-team player at the Nou Camp, Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is ready to make another move for the 24-year-old, who he tried to sign in 2011 before the Chile international made his £22million transfer from Udinese to Barcelona.

But Manchester City are not the only side interested. Serie A champions Juventus will attempt to lure Sanchez to Turin, while Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers hopes to bring him to Merseyside, though the failure to guarantee Champions League football could set the Anfield side back.

Sanchez has made just nine league starts this season, and it is expected he will leave Barcelona in the summer. This is despite a successful first campaign in Spain's second city in which he scored 11 goals in 25 league appearances.

Sanchez made his breakthrough onto the world scene at the 2010 World Cup, where his Chile side reached the round of 16, before excelling during his final season at Udinese in which he was named as Serie A's player of the season.
