Manchester City face a fight to keep striker Sergio Aguero at the Etihad Stadium as Real Madrid are pondering offering him his ‘dream’ move this summer.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, Aguero is not happy in Manchester and wants to return to Madrid to be closer to his son.

Roberto Mancini will not like the idea of losing his star centre-forward but the report claims Aguero has grown unhappy since splitting from his wife, whom returned to live in the house they still own from his time with Atletico Madrid.

It also says the Manchester City star has not been hiding his desire to play at Santiago Bernabeu and has been flirting with los Blancos.

AS claim the futures of Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuain are in doubt due to inconsistent performances this season and that Aguero could be seen a possible replacement for one of them.

Aguero scored 30 goals in all competitions for Manchester City last season, but issues with injury and form this term have seen him net only 13 times.
