Frank Lampard might be the highest scoring midfielder in Premier League history, but when it comes to goals-per-game ratios, there are two other players even more ruthless than the Chelsea legend.

After netting his landmark 200th goal for the Blues - and 163rd in England's top-flight - in Sunday's 2-0 victory over West Ham at Stamford Bridge, the 34-year-old offered yet another reason to argue the current stance of Russian owner Roman Abramovich not to offer the England international a new contract to extend his stay in west London.

However, whilst Lampard's overall goals tally is impressive, when you take into account the fact he has taken 542 games to reach that total, the achievement becomes diluted slightly.

Yesterday, GiveMeFootball provided a breakdown of the top ten goalscoring midfielders in the Premier League, and using the same group of players, here they are ranked on their goals-per-games ratio, to identify who is the most deadly midfield marksmen of them all.
