Germany defender Arne Friedrich admits Turkey are welcome Euro 2008 semi-final opponents.
After losing out to Croatia in the group stage, Germany were not relishing a rematch with Slaven Bilic´s men in the last four but must now overcome the Turks after their penalty shoot-out success against the Croats on Friday evening.
"I preferred Turkey because I think they are a better opponent for us," said Friedrich.
