Poland captain Maciej Zurawski will miss the remaining group games at Euro 2008 after suffering an injury during his team´s 2-0 defeat to Germany on Sunday.
The 31-year-old striker was substituted at half-time with a quadricep injury that will end his European Championship campaign unless Poland reach the knock-out stages.
"Maciej Zurawski has strained quads and (has) some bleeding so it´s likely he will not be available for the team, maybe even until the end of the tournament," team doctor Jerzy Grzywocz said in a press conference in Bad Waltersdorf. "For the moment he will not participate in the next two games."
