Galatasaray reclaimed their place at the top of the Turkish Super Lig on Monday following a battling 1-0 win at Konyaspor.
Umit Karan´s 58th-minute strike was all that separated the two sides in a match rescheduled from Sunday evening due to bad weather.
The postponement was untimely for Galatasaray, who have lost crucial preparation time ahead of Thursday´s UEFA Cup last-32 second-leg encounter with Bayer Leverkusen, which is locked at 0-0 following the first leg in Istanbul last week.
