Villarreal striker Nihat Kahveci is hoping a return to Spain will help his side turn around their UEFA Cup tie against Zenit St Petersburg.
Villarreal suffered a 1-0 defeat to Zenit in the first leg of their last-32 tie on Wednesday night, when a defensive mix-up allowed Pavel Pogrebniak the easiest of tap-ins for the Russian side.
Nihat, who had two of his side´s best efforts during the match, lamented both the defensive error that allowed Zenit to score and the state of the Petrovsky stadium pitch, but the Turkey international knows there is all still to play for in next week´s second leg at El Madrigal.
