Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli has revealed that he considered resigning last month following the death of his wife.
Prandelli´s wife Manuela passed away after a long illness on November 26.
"For a moment back then, I thought about stepping down," Prandelli said. "But the affection I have received and the sense of responsibility towards the club, the team and the city has made me rule out this thought."
