Fiorentina romped to their first UEFA Cup triumph of the Group C campaign with a crushing 6-1 victory over Elfsborg which puts them in pole position in the pool.
Martin Jorgensen fired La Viola into the lead after just three minutes before Christian Vieri doubled their advantage a minute later.
Stefan Ishizaki scored just before the break to give the visitors a fighting chance. But two goals in three second-half minutes from Marco Donadel and Per Kroldrup killed off the game before Jorgensen and Samuele Di Carmine completed Elfsborg´s humiliation.
