UEFA have opened disciplinary proceedings against Celtic following the incident during Wednesday´s Champions League match in which a spectator confronted AC Milan goalkeeper Dida.
The incident came in the immediate aftermath of Scott McDonald´s last-minute winner in a thrilling 2-1 victory.
The fan, who has since been identified and banned by the club for life, made contact with Dida who proceeded to briefly give chase before collapsing to the ground theatrically before being carried off on a stretcher.
