Russia international Vladimir Bystrov has been ruled out of his country´s Euro 2008 tie with England in October after damaging cruciate ligaments in his left leg.
The Spartak Moscow right-sided midfielder completed the full 90 minutes of his team´s 4-3 defeat to Lokomotiv Moscow at the weekend but complained of pain in his leg after the match.
The 23-year old Bystrov also looks set to miss the remainder of the Russian Premier Liga season and UEFA Cup group stage campaign.
