Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster will be monitoring the health of a number of players over the next few days as he plans for Tuesday´s Champions League opener against Werder Bremen.
Centre-back Pepe looks almost certain to miss out again with the thigh injury that he suffered last month while there remain doubts about another of Real´s summer signings, Arjen Robben.
"I don´t know what will happen with Robben on Tuesday," said Schuster. "There will not be a problem for him to be called up if between Sunday and Monday things go well."
