Amsterdam has put itself forward to host either the 2010 or 2011 Champions League final.
The city´s mayor Job Cohen has made assurances that the local authorities will do everything possible to take care of transport and the organisation of promotional activities.
As part of the decision-making process, UEFA will visit all the candidate cities later this year.
