France coach Raymond Domenech has been handed a fine and a one-match suspension by UEFA after being found guilty of breaching the governing body´s disciplinary regulations.
Domenech will be banned from the touchline for next month´s Euro 2008 qualifier against Italy following comments he made in an interview with French daily Le Parisien earlier this month.
He was quoted as doubting the integrity of a referee in a match between France´s youth team and their Italian counterparts in the Sydney Olympics in 2000. Domenech was coach of France Espoirs at the time.
