AC Milan captain Paolo Maldini is still recovering from knee surgery and will not return to action until the end of September.
The veteran defender had the operation on his right knee after guiding the Rossoneri to the Champions League title in Athens earlier this year.
"I am well," Maldini said. "My knee is not swollen and I will be able to run at the end of this month. I should be able to return to play in late September."
