Daniel Alves´ agent Geronimo Suazo is "80-90% confident" a deal can be struck between Chelsea and Sevilla for the full-back.
Reports in Spain suggested the two clubs had reached agreement over a £24.5million switch to Stamford Bridge but the London club on Wednesday issued a statement denying this.
The 24-year-old has been left out of Sevilla´s squad for their Champions League qualifier against AEK Athens on Wednesday night, and Suazo said: "I am confident in the Chelsea directors, I understand Chelsea is not easy to be driven but let´s say at least we are 80-90% confident that we can close the agreement."
