New Bordeaux signing Souleymane Diawara has set his sights on lifting some silverware in France after completing his move from Charlton.
The central defender from Senegal on Wednesday signed a four-year deal with Les Girondins for a reported fee of 4million euros (£2.7m).
He spent last season at Charlton following his move there from Sochaux but after a year in England, he claims he is happy to be back in France, saying: "I chose to leave to go abroad with the aim of discovering another league and other players. I enjoyed England and I had the chance to stay there, but I am happy to be returning to France - especially with Bordeaux."
