Bordeaux have revealed they hope to complete the signing of Charlton Athletic defender Souleymane Diawara this week.
The 28-year-old is set to join the Ligue 1 club on a four-year deal, subject to a medical.
The Senegal international joined Charlton from Sochaux in August 2006, and played in 22 Premier League matches as the London club suffered relegation last season.
