Bayern Munich maintained their impressive pre-season form with a 2-0 win over Stuttgart in the German League Cup.
Franck Ribery opened the scoring for the Bavarians in the eighth minute before creating the second for Sandro Wagner midway through the second half.
Defending Bundesliga champions Stuttgart rarely posed a threat to Michael Rensing in the Bayern goal, leaving Ottmar Hitzfeld´s troops to ease into the League Cup final where they will play Schalke on Saturday.
