Argentina central defender Roberto Ayala has confirmed his retirement from international football.
Ayala, 34, has decided to call it a day following Argentina´s 3-0 defeat to Brazil in the Copa America final.
He made the announcement after being unveiled by Real Zaragoza. Ayala left Valencia for Villarreal at the end of last season but has opted out of that agreement in order to join Zaragoza.
