Monaco confirm Giuly interest

Monaco coach Ricardo has placed Barcelona winger Ludovic Giuly at the top of his wishlist, although the player has also been linked with a move to Roma and Manchester City.

Giuly is believed to be on his way out of the Nou Camp, with his former club Monaco now set to enter the bidding, and Ricardo said: "I want a wide midfielder who can take on players, go past them and cross.

"We do not have a player like this and we have to have at least one. On the left or the right, but the preference is the right. Ideally, it is Giuly. I hope he is going to come. I hope, even if it could be tricky."
