Chris Coleman now looks set to be confirmed as Real Sociedad coach after the club shareholders gave their backing to the board.
The shareholders voted in favour of the board chaired by Maria de la Pena with 46.18% in favour and 39.80% against. 14.02% abstained.
Coleman had agreed a three-year deal with De la Pena who has taken the reins since the resignation of Miguel Fuentes following the San Sebastian-based club´s relegation after 40 years in the Primera Liga.
