Real Madrid edged out Barcelona in the Primera Liga title race on Sunday after a late flurry of goals enabled Fabio Capello´s men to beat Real Mallorca 3-1.
The equation for Madrid was very simple going into the final day; win and the title was theirs for the first time since 2003.
