Norwegian coach Trond Sollied has been talking to former club AA Gent about a possible return.
"He is one of the most prominent candidates to succeed (Georges) Leekens, I will not deny that," AA Gent manager Michel Louwagie admitted to the Belgian press.
Sollied, who has also been linked with a coaching role at Feyenoord, was coach at Gent, before he went to Club Brugge and then on to Olympiakos, who dispensed with his services last season.
