Germany international defender Christoph Metzelder will join Real Madrid this summer, Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Doll has confirmed.
In an interview on German television, Doll said the search had already begun to find a replacement for the 26-year-old.
Doll told the Doppelpass programme on DSF Channel: "Christoph Metzelder is going to Real Madrid so we are on the lookout for a new central defender."
