Portsmouth are expected to confirm the double signing of Sylvain Distin and Sulley Muntari on Wednesday morning.
The Fratton Park outfit have called a press conference for 11:45am where it is expected former Manchester City captain Distin will be unveiled while Ghana midfielder Muntari´s move from Udinese is also expected to be confirmed.
Tuesday´s confirmation Distin´s five-year career at Manchester City is over has boosted Pompey´s confidence that they could finally complete a £40,000-a-week deal for the 29-year-old on a free transfer.
