Savage set for Withdean switch

Derby have confirmed midfielder Robbie Savage is set to complete a loan move to League One side Brighton on Wednesday.

The 33-year-old has failed to hold onto a regular first-team berth at Pride Park this season, with his last outing coming in the 1-0 home defeat to Southampton on August 23.

Rams boss Paul Jewell said: "This gives Sav the chance to play some games, which is important. It is only a temporary move at this stage."
